WHAT WE USE     

The items viewed are some of the equipment we use to investigate alleged hauntings. 

I suppose the first and foremost, important item we have for use is our human senses. Your senses can, and does, allert you to paranormal activity. Everyone has this ability and you don't have to have psychic abillities for it to work. The activity can be felt and, naturally, seen.

 The first 3 are EMF detectors (electromagnetic field detectors) They are used to measure electromagnet fields that ghost / spirits used to manifest. The top detector is also equiped with a K type thermometer. Since this page was completed, we have an aray of EMF detectors including a K II meter that we are experimenting with.

The forth is a Infrared motion detector that is used to alarm when any type of motion passes infront of it. It is used in locations wher a room can not be physically monitored by an investigator.

The fifth is a standard Cassette Recorder used for capturing EVPs (electronic voice phenomena) voices heard on tape when questions are asked and replys that are not heard with the human ear. We also use small digital recorders and a lap-top computer to capture these voices with no background or mechanical noise that can be heard with cassette recorders. All are used with remote microphones attached.

The sixth is a Cap Light that is attached to bill of a ball cap to provide light for equipment that have no back light in dark and low light conditions.

The seventh is a thermometer base that is used to record room temperatures remotel with sensors, pictured to the left , in three different rooms and a fourth that measures the room where the base is located.

The eighth is a Cannon Power Shot S70 digital camera used to take pictures when alleged activity is occurring. When digital camers are used for paranormal studies it is advised you use camera with 5 migapixels are higher. Also not shown is our Cannon SLR Power Shot S5IS digital camera.

The ninth and tenth are ir non-contact thermometers used to identify cold spots that ghosts / spirits are alleged to produce when manifesting. This coldness can be physically felt as well in some cases. The equipment has back light readouts so you can monitor temperature variations when the laser is pointed in a specific direction

Not shown, are omni-directional microphones used with recording equipment with three to four foot cords to extend the mic away from the equipment to keep from picking up any mechanical noise. This also helps by not having to hold the recorder and pick up hand noise. It is also suggested to put the equipment on something soft to eliminate any vibrations.

Digital 8 mini cam corder with night vision function. These cameras a used to record the investigative process in all areas including interviews and alleged activity. Not listed is our Sony HandyCam for the same purpose.

Last but deffinately not least, is our DVR color camera systems used to monitor different locations at one time. These cameras allows you to monitor different ares in total darkness. We have two systems that allows us to view up to eight ares at one time.

All of the Investigators bring their own equipment as well to back up the above mentioned items. They are cross trained on each piece of equipment.
